You Are Not Forgotten

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Since my early teens I have suffered with numerous mental health conditions, and know I am not the only one. This blog is aimed at providing a safe place to anyone suffering from conditions of the mind, where we can share experiences, ideas and coping mechanisms in the hope of creating a more accepting society.

Dealing with the pressures of everyday life can be challenging enough, finances, jobs and relationships all play a part in our mood, but what about those who have a constant battle with their own mind too? If this sounds like you, or someone you know, this blog is for you.

Since a very early age I can remember feeling somehow ‘different’ to my peers, I wasn’t sure why or if others even noticed, but I certainly did and it made each and every day feel like climbing the highest mountain with no oxygen, gasping for breath at every opportunity, but not quite being able to fill your lungs enough to get to the top, and in turn feeling like a failure each and every time you couldn’t make it. I almost felt ashamed to admit this daily struggle I faced, but wish I’d spoken up as so many others are battling the same feelings each and every day; that is why I have created this blog, to let you know you’re not alone.
